The Salvation Army Cross Generations in Blue Island has been serving the community for more than a decade. In recent years, we have been able to upgrade to a new building that is not only more spacious but designed specifically to meet the needs of our fellow neighbors. We are glad and proud ourselves for being the largest organization in the U.S. serving people in need. From physical and financial needs to emotional and spiritual needs, we look at our ministry from a holistic point of view, serving individuals as a whole. In addition, we have created safe spaces to welcome and receive the young and old. From sports activities to meals for seniors, we welcome people to come and benefit from all the services we provide to the community.
